Carmel Marshall is the Executive Officer Planning and Development and Company Secretary at CatholicCare Central Queensland, where she leads strategic planning across the region from Bundaberg to Mackay and west to the border. With a background in sustainable regional development and over 15 years at CatholicCare, Carmel brings deep sector knowledge, a commitment to good governance, and a strong belief in community-led decision-making. She previously served on the Yumba Bimbi board from 2018 to 2024 and is rejoining after a short break to support the organisation’s growth and sustainability, while championing its person-centred culture and ensuring vulnerable people receive the support they need to live their best lives.
