Free diagnostic hearing assessments are available to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander children aged 0-5 years.
Where: Emerald Hospital, 69 Hospital Road, Emerald (Bi-Monthly on Tuesday between 9-3.30pm)
What to bring: signed consent form
How: To book an appointment please send an email requesting a HAPEE appointment for one of the above dates to EmeraldCommunityHealth@qld.gov.au
Appointments will be approximately 30 minutes in duration and a parent or caregiver will also need to be present. A copy of the report can be provided to your GP or specialist by request on the day.
